One thing I strongly believe in is giving.
When I took Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University class, his last lesson was called “The Great Misunderstanding.” The main point of the lesson is that you can have all the wealth in the world, but if you don’t know how to give, you’ll never truly have financial peace.
In addition to giving to our church, we try to give to organizations or missionaries that we want to support.
My wife supports a child through Compassion International.
In 2021, I pledged to donate $100 for each real estate transaction I close to the Unique Learning Center in DC.
They serve underprivileged kids in the inner city, and the ULC director, Sherry Woods, has a good relationship with our church. She usually speaks to our congregation at least once a year. I believe the ULC is doing work that truly matters.

As of December 2021, I closed 23 real estate transactions in 2021 and have donated $2,400 to the ULC.
